01Can you tow my car to my own mechanic?
Yes. You nominate the destination. If the workshop is closed, the car can usually be left securely on site by arrangement, or taken home instead.
02What do I do while I wait on a freeway?
Put the hazard lights on, get everyone out on the passenger side, and wait behind the safety barrier well back from the car. Do not stand between your vehicle and oncoming traffic.
03My car will not go into neutral. Is that a problem?
Usually not. A tilt tray with a winch can load a vehicle that will not roll or steer. Mention it on the call so the right approach is planned before arrival.
